To honor the depth of this work, each gathering at Centro Kako is intentionally kept small and intimate, capped at just 9 participants.
Because every group and individual brings a unique intention, each experience can be custom-curated alongside our Siekopai wisdom keepers. The 5-day flow below serves as an illustrative prototype and example of the sacred medicine work, forest walks, and cultural practices we host during your time with us.

Afternoon arrival in Coca > Shuttle & boat ride into Siekopai Territory.
Evening welcome fire ceremony & traditional dinner.

Early morning Hoja de Yajé cleanse, agroforestry walk, river clay masks, plant vapor bath, and Siekopai storytelling/cine.

Ortiga cleansing, Mambedro vision circle, face/body painting, and sunset-to-sunrise Yajé ceremony.
(Alternative option: Nighttime jungle walk & traditional arts/crafts).

Rest & integration, walk to the ancient Ceibo tree, Aguarico River canoeing, and cultural music/dance night.

Important Questions

Women who are on their menstruation cycle can not sit in yaje (ayahuasca) ceremony. Women on their mensuration cycle may experience dizziness, difficulty in healing, and other side effects. For that reason any woman on her cycle will be offered a nurturing alternative option if her cycle arrives on the yaje ceremony day. She still can participate in all other activities.

The Siekopai community is a 45 minute canoe and then a 2 hour shuttle ride to the nearest airport - Coca Ecuador National Airport. This airport has one flight a day to Quito International airport.

Refund Policy: If for any reason you have to cancel after having made any payment, you will be refunded the total minus $100 for administration. If you would have to cancel a month before the retreat, the total will be refunded only if you find another person to take your place. You will be refunded the total minus a $100 administration fee after the retreat has concluded.
